I'd advise you to turn Oliver over to a local or nearby BOXER RESCUE group. They'll ensure he is placed in the proper environment with the proper trainers/owners. Do it not only for the dog but yourself as well. It's the right thing to do and you'll be very glad you did. R

We just got a boxer pup two three weeks ago, she was in very bad condition, under weight and had a bad skin infection. She has seen the vet and all is under control now except for her, we are in the process of house training her but she has taken to peeing on her bed any suggestions as to how to stop this?

I love my boxer who is now 10 years old! He was a Christmas gift from God as he showed up in my yard on December 24, 1999! He was an older kind of puppy. Nobody claimed him when I tried to find his owners so I kept him myself. He was particularly easy to train as he was so eager to please me from the start. I knew nothing about the breed but I have another smaller and older dog (now 15). I knew Buddy would be big and strong so I thought, "I'd better overpower this dog before he overpowers me!" and we've been the best of friends ever since. He is stubborn especially now in his age. The funny thing is that all I have to do is use a curse word on him, like what the heck (but not heck...this is a family forum!) and he knows I mean business....that's how smart he is!

My 5 year old male boxer has an elongated epiglottis. It makes it hard for him to eat. Does anyone know what food I can feed him or if there are any other suggestions that might help?

Hi there! I'm writing from Chile. We have a 6 months old white boxer female called Bianca. We are absolutely in love with her. I want to ask when is a good age to start taking her jogging with me? I don't want to harm her or predispose her negatively. Cheers, Omar
